Not all wireless traffic is treated equally. Here's how network priority affects your VLE Mobile service and what you can expect.
Your priority level:
VLE Mobile customers get standard network priority
Same priority as postpaid customers from major carriers
Higher priority than some other prepaid services
Fair access to network resources during busy times
When priority matters:
During major events (concerts, sports games, festivals)
In densely populated areas during peak hours
Near airports, train stations, and shopping centers
During emergencies, when networks are heavily used
Performance expectations:
High-speed data: Full speed during your monthly allowance
After high-speed limit: Reduced speeds, but still usable for most activities
Network congestion: May experience slower speeds during very busy times
5G access: Available where networks offer it
Speed ranges you can expect:
5G: 50-500+ Mbps in optimal conditions
4G LTE: 20-100 Mbps in most areas
Congested times: 5-30 Mbps depending on location
Throttled speeds: 0.128 Mbps (3G) or 3 Mbps, depending on plan
Factors affecting performance:
Your location and distance from cell towers
Time of day and local network usage
Your device's capabilities and age
Weather conditions and physical obstacles
Network maintenance and upgrades
Tips for best performance:
Use WiFi when available for data-heavy activities
Download content during off-peak hours
Keep your phone's software updated
Restart your phone periodically
Clear your phone's cache regularly
Our goal is to provide consistent, reliable service that meets your daily communication and data needs.
