Setting up your VLE Mobile multinetwork plan is straightforward, though it involves installing two separate eSIMs or a combination of a physical SIM and an eSIM. Follow these steps to get connected to our revolutionary triple network service.

Step 1: Receive Your Activation Materials

You'll receive:

  • Two eSIMs: One for Voice/SMS and one for Data (delivered via email with QR codes)

  • One Physical SIM (for Voice/SMS) and One eSIM (for Data)

Each will be clearly labeled for its intended purpose.

Step 2: Install Your eSIMs/SIMs

For eSIM Installation:

  1. Open your phone's camera or go to Settings > Cellular/Mobile

  2. Scan the QR code for "Voice/SMS" first

  3. Follow the prompts to install

  4. Repeat for the "Data" eSIM

  5. If using the VLE Mobile app, simply tap "Install eSIM" for each

For Physical SIM:

  1. Insert the SIM card in your phone's SIM tray

  2. This will be your Voice/SMS line

  3. Then, install the Data eSIM using the QR code

Step 3: Configure Your Lines

For iPhone:

  1. Go to Settings > Cellular

  2. You'll see both lines listed

  3. Tap the Voice/SMS line and rename it "Voice"

  4. Tap the Data line and rename it "Data"

  5. Under Default Voice Line, select "Voice"

  6. Under Cellular Data, select "Data"

  7. Turn on both lines using the toggles

For Android with Dual SIM Settings:

  1. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs

  2. Rename your Voice/SMS SIM to "Voice"

  3. Rename your Data SIM to "Data"

  4. Set "Voice" as the default for calls and SMS

  5. Set "Data" as the default for mobile data

For Android without Automatic Settings:

  1. Set the Data eSIM as your default line

  2. When making calls, manually select "Voice" eSIM

  3. Your phone will remember this preference for future calls

Step 4: Enable Roaming

Critical for multinetwork functionality:

  1. Go to your cellular/mobile settings

  2. Select the "Data" line

  3. Enable Data Roaming

  4. This allows network switching at no extra cost

Important Configuration Tips:

  • Label Your Lines: Clear naming prevents confusion

  • Voice Line: Handles all calls and texts

  • Data Line: Manages all internet connectivity

  • Both Active: Ensure both lines show as active

  • Roaming On: Essential for network switching

Troubleshooting Common Setup Issues:

  1. "No Service" on one line: Toggle Airplane Mode on/off

  2. Can't scan QR code: Enter details manually (support can help)

  3. eSIM won't install: Ensure the previous eSIM is deleted first

  4. Confused about which line: Contact support for guided setup
